Branch Grants & Scholarships

North Harris County Branch funds grants to local educational projects and contributes to scholarships for higher education with the proceeds of our 2010 Fantasy Tour of the world’s architectural marvels and our Spring 2011 Luncheon honoring two local women.

Grants

The NHC AAUW Educational Foundation Committee grants education projects awards up to $2,500. Each project is evaluated on its relevance to the AAUW Mission Statement as quoted on the application and other criteria. Preference is given to new and innovative educational projects

Scholarships

North Harris County AAUW has an endowed scholarship fund with the Lone Star College System Foundation that provides two $500 scholarships annually to LSC-North Harris students on the basis of merit, financial need, and promotion of the AAUW mission.
