Show us your PEARLS - Twelve Branches |
|
The AAUW String of PEARLs event was held Friday evening at the 2010 AAUW Texas Convention: Opening Opportunities! in the Richmond Room. The AAUW Texas String Of PEARLS applauds branches for projects, events, or activities that help successfully break through barriers and open opportunities so that all women have a fair chance. It enables branches to share [brag about] these efforts and energize their fellow members at the state convention. AAUW PEARL projects, events, and activities were featured during the Welcome Reception. A PEARL is always more beautiful when it‘s displayed. Twelve branches displayed PEARL posters portraying their PEARL efforts to embody AAUW‘s Goals, Mission and Values. |
